This concept, called Blood Pressure Time in Target Range (BP-TTR), looks beyond isolated readings and focuses on long-term patterns. Studies show that spending more time within a healthy blood pressure range is linked to lower risk of heart disease, stroke, and dementia.
The question is not only, “Was my blood pressure normal today?” but also, “How consistently is it staying in range over time?”
