Tiny Habits for
Brain Health

The Simple, Proven Way to Improve Your Focus,

Get Rid of Brain Fog,

and Prevent Dementia!

An illustration of a brain with a stethoscope

Your brain impacts every aspect of your life.

From your ability to solve problems and make decisions on the job to your mood and mental health when you get home at the end of the day, your brain is the engine that drives everything you do.

It impacts your ability to:

  • Learn and retain new things
  • Express yourself in speech and writing
  • Think critically about news and other media
  • Recall old memories and make new ones
  • Control your movements, maintain your balance, walk, and play sports
  • ... And so much more!

Anyone who has a brain is at risk for dementia, the most common form of which is Alzheimer's Disease.

Despite billions of dollars spent on research, there are only medications to manage its symptoms. There is no curative treatment for Alzheimer's Disease, nor is there one on the horizon.

 Data from https://www.alzint.org/about/dementia-facts-figures/dementia-statistics/

Despite these grim statistics, there's hope.

Your lifestyle decides your brain health! Studies have shown that

Sleeping well

move more, eat "real" food, manage your blood pressure and blood glucose levels well, have low levels of chronic inflammation, have meaningful relationships, and avoid using alcohol... you can dramatically reduce your risk for dementias like Alzheimer's Disease!

Sounds easy enough... right?

(Chances are, that's like asking you to conquer the world before breakfast tomorrow!)

Many of the things that are widely believed about the brain and memory loss simply aren't true!

Take a look at some of the most common myths below, and learn how Tiny Habits for Brain Health is helping to prove these beliefs wrong!

"We always try to improve ourselves on a daily basis with regard to routine habits, finance, health, and food. I have tried to write down and then track tasks. There are so many that I get overwhelmed and lose a few tasks and I am unable to make any progress.

This led to frustration despite having the right intentions and effort. The Tiny Habits course created by Dr. Shabnam, Dr. Fogg, Jennifer, and Stephanie helped me to break this down. It helped me to understand how to make a habit and how to be more effective at creating change in my life. The course is well structured with learning outcomes and feedback. It is a course to take up and go deeper into this interesting science of creating habits."

Online Cognitive Assessment
with Trend Monitoring

A cognitive test should be a part of your annual health check-up, but it isn't.

So, when was the last time you had a brain test? Likely never, unless you experienced an injury or memory loss symptoms.

And if you wait until you develop cognitive decline symptoms, like getting lost, missing appointments, or forgetting names... well, by then, it may be too late!

"You can't change what you don't measure," so why guess when you can test?

That's why we use the Cognitive Assessment Test to establish a baseline to analyze memory, reasoning, verbal ability, concentration, attention, and planning.

You can learn more about the test here.

Now, you might be thinking...

"I already know what to do to improve my brain health… I just have to eat better, exercise more, get rid of my stress, stop eating sugary stuff, and sleep more... but I just can't get myself to do them!"

"I did start creating brain-healthy habits, but they didn't last for long. Covid hit, my job stress was high, I went on a vacation, *add your own reason here*... and all my healthy habits went out the window!"

We get it, and that's where our course is different.

It's based on the work of Dr. B.J. Fogg, the head of Stanford's Behavior Design Lab. In fact, this course was co-created with Dr. Fogg, and many of the videos feature Dr. Fogg himself.

In his book, Tiny Habits: The Small Changes That Change Everything, Dr. Fogg describes "the information-action fallacy" ⎯ the false idea that if we just learn WHAT to do, we can change our lives.

Because we all know that knowledge alone is not enough! It's having the right tools to create lasting change so you can experience the success that you are truly capable of.

So, if you've tried unsuccessfully to change your behaviour in the past...

You are not the problem,
and you're definitely not alone.

This course is for you if you...

  • Are frustrated because you've tried unsuccessfully to change your behaviour in the past
  • Feel like you're walking around with your brain in a fog
  • Have trouble remembering new information
  • Sense that your brain isn't as rapid-fire as it used to be
  • Feel like your brain is functioning great now, but you worry about your risk of suffering from dementia in the future

"I just finished the Tiny Habits for Brain Health, and I found the course by Dr. Shabnam Das Kar and Jennifer Lee to be so helpful. My mother died from Alzheimer’s and seeing what she went through has put me on a path of researching everything I can do to prevent getting that dreaded disease myself.

I learned so much great information about things I can do to help keep my brain healthy from Shabnam and Jennifer. Their teaching style is calm and friendly. I felt like I was being taught by a couple of knowledgeable family friends. I learned information on brain health that I'd never heard before.

What sets this brain health course apart from others is that others feed you information without any help on how to implement healthy changes in your life. The Tiny Habits program doesn’t do that. I have learned realistic methods for implementing all of the great brain health information into daily practices that I know will definitely help me keep my brain healthy for a long time to come."
